Will sound therapy help me to treat my pulsatile tinnitus?

Actually I don't have the frequent ear ringing thing but I have Pulsatile Tinnitus in my right ear brought by a blood vessel transmitting its 'pulsate' to my ear drum via wax. In the last 5 months my pulsatile tinnitus got worse and worse. This made me to search for some sound therapy for it. Looking on youtube I found this video about this guy and how he treated his tinnitus. Do you think it may help me? What are your thoughts about sound therapy for tinnitus?

Hi boobieaquilar,

Welcome to the forum.

If you have a pulsatile tinnitus due to restrictions of blood vessels, then this is an objective tinnitus and sound therapies won't help you (likewise other therapies usually applied for subjective tinnitus (which originates in the brain)).

See also this forum entry for more information in this respect http://forum.mytinnitus.de/en/viewtopic … 3631#p3631
