Tinnitus does originate from unusual brain activity, I speak from personal experience. In my post of the 27th I fell victim to the crossover that has inhibited research into the causes of tinnitus.
Research should take 2 separate yet parallel paths . . . . Neurology and Audiology.
Drugs however take up much more that 5%. Caffeine for instance fools the adenosine receptors, inhibiting nerve cell repair for starters.
Sadly, for the moment, brain function is limited due to effects of New Year over celebration.
