Should we avoid strenuous exercises

I had wondered if a recent hike up the mountains which I found tough, had triggered factors that eventually induce the tinnitus. I had over-exerted myself during that hike, and had to stop several times for quite a bit enroute that hike.

Therefore I avoid more strenuous exercises for the time being.

When I run for a cab etc., the tinnitus rev up.
Is that cause for concern?

I find Lee Holden's '7 Minutes of Magic' Qigong gentle and soothing.  It did release joint tension quite a bit.

I've been told by someone from HUSH, UK to do the Alexandra Technique exercises as well, particularly paying attention to the head - neck - spine alignment.  Have anyone good reviews on that?

If you feel that exercise aggravates the tinnitus, then just take it somewhat easier right now. This sensitivity is quite common in the early phase (I had it as well), but it usually disappears again after some time, or it can even reverse (with exercise improving the condition).
