I noticed my right ear ringing about 6 weeks after i gave birth. I went to the doctor who sent me to see a ENT. The specialist said i should wait 6 months and then if it still persists they will order a MRI. I am so nervous and stressed about this. Keeping thinking this is a tumour in my head. I also feel like I am getting worse and not only do I hear a buzzing sound on my right ear but both ears also hear a high pitched sound. It is so annoying and bothers me mostly at night when trying to sleep. I suffered from a lot of anxiety in the past year before and during pregnancy and this is just adding to the stress.

Hi lina,
Welcome to the forum.
Quite a few women develop tinnitus during and after pregnancy. It is presumably only related to the stress or some hormonal imbalance. Something more serious like a tumour is very rare (even if it persists for 6 months or longer). So there is no need to be worried. In the meanwhile, try to take some measures to calm the tinnitus down (avoid caffeine, alcohol and stress for a while) and it will improve gradually (although you have to be patient, as nervous dispositions can take a long time to sort itself out).
