Aspirin, Acetaminophen, IBProfen....

I see many people recommending using Aspirin, Acetaminophen, IBProfen for Tinnitus relief but they are all known to be ototoxic which can lead to hearing loss and worsening of tinnitus.  Does anyone know of any natural pain relievers that work?

Thanks

Re: Aspirin, Acetaminophen, IBProfen....

Hi Erik,

Welcome to the forum.

The ototoxic effect is only an issue if high dosages are taken over extended periods (like more than 2g of Aspirin a day for more than a week). Just from 1 or 2 tablets there shouldn't be any adverse effect. But you could anyway use also Paracetamol (which is not considered to be ototoxic at all, and which worked as well as Aspirin for me to suppress the tinnitus).
