Any experience with Soft Laser and Sound + Neuro stimulation?

Hi, anybody out there who has experience with Soft Laser and Sound + Neuro stimulation from company Tinnitus Self Help, Switzerland? I'm not sure how it works, but anticipate it's based on Acoustic Coordinated Reset (ACR) treatment(?)

Btw I can strongly recommend 'Pygnogenol' tablets, which considerably lower the volume of my pitch tone tinnitus. Pygnogenol is one of the strongest antioxidants known and is 100% natural -extracted from maritime pine trees . I buy a product called 'Biovea', 50 mg tablets and take 3 x in the morning and sometimes an additional in the evening. I also found that it is vital to get enough quality sleep = un-interupted sleep of min 7½ hour. I refrain from drinking anything after 20:00 in order to avoid toilet visits during the night and hence avoid interuption of my sleep.

Cheers

/Finn

Re: Any experience with Soft Laser and Sound + Neuro stimulation?

Hi Finn,

Before I went to Germany to have a one-week-laser-treatment at Dr. Wilden's (1000 Euros), I had treated myself with a "cheap" (300 Euros approx.) soft laser (tinnitool), both of which were totally in vain. I do not trust in the effectiveness of lasers at all - unfortunately. I do not have experience with sound/neuro-stimulation though. I'd be interested in the pills you mention; however, I can't seem to find anything about it in wikipedia - are you sure the spelling is correct? Thanks and good luck with whatever you are trying out!

Re: Any experience with Soft Laser and Sound + Neuro stimulation?

Hi Girasole, sorry if the spelling was incorrect. The brand I buy is called 'BIOVEA' and the pills are 'Pygnogenol'. Here is one example of where to buy them: http://www.biovea.com/uk/product_detail … p;TI=CAOUK
But there are many sources and there are also other brands to choose from. Hope you'll benefit from them, they do help me for sure. You mention Dr. Wilden in Germany: Did the laser treatment have any effect short and long term? Was it worth the money and where is Wilden located in Germany?  Cheers /Finn

Re: Any experience with Soft Laser and Sound + Neuro stimulation?

Hi Finn,
Thanks for the details regardign those pills. Unfortunately, Dr. Wilden's treatment had no effect whatsoever. Plus, he did not make a good impression on me at all. He seemed to be rather confused and not able to answer questions in a straightforward way. For example, he is convinced that tinnitus has always got something to do with too much noise and that consequent hearing loss in some areas of frequency cause the tinnitus. I told him I live in the most quiet area of Salzburg, never go to discos or concerts, never listen to music with earphones; the only three sources of noise I know of in my life are the hairdryer, the hoover and the car, which I only use 2-3 times a month as I can take the bike to my work place. I obviously upset him with this statement and he kind of rudely asked me if I came to learn something... Looking back, I don't regret trying it but I don't believe his treatment can help. When I went for the treatment last summer, Dr. Wilden was located in Bad Füssing (southern Germany) but as far as I know he's moved to Regensburg. Maybe there are people who are lucky with this therapy, God knows!

Re: Any experience with Soft Laser and Sound + Neuro stimulation?

Hello Everybody
Does anyone have experience with tinnitol-softlaser?
I startet to use it since 2 weeks, and since then, my tinnitus got worse. My advicer said, and it is also written on the instruction book, that it is normal, and even a good sign, once it shows that something is happening, so it should get worse and than better.
Im skeptical about it. Can anybody help me with informations or experience  with it? you can write in english or german. Thanks
Jay
