Re: Tinnitus in the head

Hi Raynorblue.

Welcome to the forum.

It is not unusual that the tinnitus apparently moves from the ears to the heard or vice versa. I had contact with quite a few people who mentioned this. For me the tinnitus started in the centre of my head, but (apparently) after taking some painkillers a couple of months into the condition, it changed to the ears (where it has stayed ever since). It is not really anything to worry about, although one might find one form more tolerable than the other.

Re: Tinnitus in the head

Hi Thomas, Thanks for the advice, I start taking pain killers when it gets bad and see if moves to my ears, the hearing aids the give me may work for me. Do you think high and low pressure in the weather can affect on how bad tinnitus will be.

Neil,

Yes, the pressure (or weather in general) can definitely affect the tinnitus. So can many other things. But this general sensitivity should gradually decrease with time.
