HI all ,
First of all please note , the following texts are my personal views and i am no medical expert or guru.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Tinnitus started from last two months , dont know the reason , have been checked by the doctors , all seem to give me counseling and antidepressants , now i have taken to homeopathy +mudra(exercise) postures .
these are reducing my tinnitus , however when i stress myself at work , it tends to increase , having sex also increased my tinnitus .
Homeopathy medicine lows down the tinnitus volume and also lets me sleep
.
tinnitus is nothing but mal -electricity generation which are leaking and recognized by auditory nerves . There is electrical potential developed , high potential and low potential between some unknown ends inside the brain thus bringing in depolarization . check wiki
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Depolarization
So allopathy docs are helpless . homepathy has medicines which can temporarily stop depolarization, thus bringing down the disturbance level
But hearing loss etc or other things are not taken care of because those are other medical cases .
So homepathy treatment , please consult homeopathy doctors
Now coming to mudras
---------------------------
I started doing "Shunya mudra" 15 mins a day and now increased to 30 mins and i will increase it to 60 mins from tomorrow . because the
tinnitus sounds have many types in my ear( one electricty short circuit sound , hissing and blowing air sound and beep sound ) . So after doing shunya mudra , only one sound stays and the decibel level decreases .
gurus says that mudras were done by great god messengers and these
path i have taken and i am getting results and i hve full confidence , it will get totally cured in long run , coz the "SHUNYA mUDRA" changes or alters the sound buzz or effects on my ears and lows down as well .
So meditate using shunya mudra and do homepathy for removing depolarization that is tinnitus from ears .
let me know if you all get the same results , please check youtube for shunya mudra training or search google , u will get lots of references and i dont support people who are doing business for such a distressing disease like "tinnitus " on in the internet . I want all of them to share their knowledge and help the mankind
Thanks ,

Hi Joybabu,
Welcome to the forum.
In case the homeopathic medicines don't help, you might want to try if taking a few painkillers (Aspirin or Paracetamol) for a couple of days can bring an improvement. This has always helped me in periods where my tinnitus was bad. Alcohol-free beer also had a good effect in reducing the tinnitus.
In any case, it can take a long time until the condition starts to improve (for most people about 3-6 months). So you should not get impatient if the tinnitus does not improve within a few weeks. For the time being, try to deal with the problem on a day to day basis. If you take some general care to keep the volume of the tinnitus under control, it will eventually improve. But as I said, there is only a limited amount you can do in the short term. The rest simply takes time (and usually a long time).

Hi Joybabu
I discovered the so-called shoonya mudra (or aakaash-shaamak mudra) some time ago already but I decided to give it a serious try only a couple of days ago with the hope that it will cure my tinnitus.
This is the first time I find a report of someone having actually tried the mudra path for tinnitus! So your post is from a couple of months old. How are you doing now, have you been experiencing a significant improvement?
Did you get improvement right after the first attempts or, say, after a couple of weeks?
It is difficult to find information on how to do the mudra right. For instance, would you know whether one can do the mudra in sitting, lying, or even while walking? Should one do some pranayama exercises at the same time or not? Should one stretch the other fingers or can one relax them? I find it very hard to keep them stretched for 90 minutes...
Regards, and thanks to the organiser of the forum for setting up such a facility to allow tinnitus sufferers to share views and ideas on the topic.
