Re: Low frequency sound therapy + + + working for me.

Thank you to all that have contacted me. I am also thankful that I was able to help a few of you with your tinnitus...the low frequency sound therapy combined with matching a tone slightly lower than you tinnitus also helps greatly.

In my case, the ringing is gone 99.9% of the time, sometimes it comes back for 15 seconds, and then just disappears on it's own (thankfully).  I have not done sound therapy for over a month now and my ears are ok...however, I sadly cannot blast my ears with loud music anymore...however, mid level sound is still ok for me...just need to be careful.

My band just release it's 2nd CD and the 3rd is 60% done...so if you have a chance, visit the link below...would love if you added you comments at the site.

Keep in touch...and I would be pleased to help anyone with the sound therapy technique.

Re: Low frequency sound therapy + + + working for me.

Hi RV and others,

one question, should you apply the high (below tinnitus freq.) and low freq. tone (soothing) simultaneously?

Thank you.

Re: Low frequency sound therapy + + + working for me.

Hi,

For me, applying the high and low frequency worked best.  The low 40 Hz frequency provided soothing stimulation, but when I added the higher tone (a tone ar 3300 Hz that was slightly lower than my tinnitus 3700Hz)) that tricked my brain to start focusing on 3300 rather than the brain generating the 3700.  For me, I used to sleep with the headphones all night and wake up in the morning with the tinnitus very much reduced.  Over the last year I have done this techique only a few times when my tinnitus increases (usually due to stress, or the odd time when I listened to music too loud).
As a reminder, this techique worked for me (I feel very lucky), and it has worked for others, BUT in some cases it may not work...all tinnitus cases are different and reactions to therapies can be different.

Regards,

Rein

Re: Low frequency sound therapy + + + working for me.

I've tried
sound oasis sound therapy it has been helping mildly. Acupuncture has also helped mildly. I'm hoping to find the right combo to see if I can get a little more relief. I'm interested in the herb combination you are taking. Was this recommended to you or is it something you found on your own?

Cheers

Re: Low frequency sound therapy + + + working for me.

Hi,

I was taking Chinese herbs as prescribed by my Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).  I do not have a listing of what she gave me at the time.  Perhaps you might contact a TCM practitioner.

Cheers,

RV

Re: Low frequency sound therapy + + + working for me.

Frequency Cancellation works.
I did it myself a few years ago with some russian made software that allowed me to invert the phase of any chosen audio frequency (tone)

The end result was, i could hear the tone in my unaffected ear but couldn't hear it in my Tinnitus affected ear.

Please, if anyone has connections or the power of patent, get this truth out there.

Re: Low frequency sound therapy + + + working for me.

this is a very interesting post. since i’ve had T i’ve never come across anything like it.

i’m trying out the app now, though it is very outdated at this point. don’t know if it’s an option on an Android phone.

has this worked for anyone?

would love to hear from anyone who has tried this approach. thank you
