I have tinnitus for 2 weeks. I think it started by listening to loud music. What foods can make my tinnitus worse?
Especially I wander the effects of orange juice, honey, garlic, pepperoni, red meat, white meat?
I also (as usual) have problem with sleep, any advise could help me ..

Hi Ceyhun,
Welcome to the forum.
First of all, you should avoid any nerve stimulants like caffeine and alcohol. Also, if possible reduce your salt intake, and avoid the flavour enhancer Monosodium Glutamate (which can be found in many snacks, instant sauces etc; it is usually declared on the food label either as such or as E621).
With regard to sleep, it depends on the severity of your problem. For some people it works just to have some distracting background sounds playing at night. If it is very serious you might want to consider asking your doctor to prescribe you some sleeping aid for a couple of weeks. For me personally, a simple painkiller (Paracetamol or Aspirin) always worked when I had problems at night (this toned down the tinnitus for a few hours, so that I could get back to sleep again).
