Hi Thomas

Sorry my last input was full of spelling mistakes and did not read clearly.  I can only put this down to another 13 hr shift which clearly affects my concentration and my tinnitus. Thank you for your comments and advice. Since I last magaged tinnitus all those years ago Iam having difficulty in accepting this new noise.  I say new, but have had this noise to a lesser degree many times before whilst driving long distances (150 miles and longer) but the noise will always go away immediately the journey is over. I can not believe how immense the sound occurs now after minutes of driving.

As I said in my previous message I have been perscibed a white noise generator as part of a Tinnitus Retraining Programme.  I have since heard of an alternative treatment in England called Phase Out, which involves listening to a noise simular to the tinnitus you are experiencing but is designed to combat the noise to give total relief from tinnius for days to weeks.

I have never heard of non alcohic beer helping tinnitus but will give it a go although alcohol certainly suppresses my noises!

It is nice to communicate with other people with tinnitus.  There are suposed to millions that suffer with this complaint but I have yet to meet them personally!

Thanks for efforts Thomas
